The Strait Area Sexual Violence Prevention and Support Coalition, in collaboration with the Antigonish Family Violence Prevention Interagency and the Strait Area Sexual Violence Prevention Interagency, is organizing events across Eastern Nova Scotia for Family Violence Prevention Week, February 10-16. Keep your calendar open, as all events will be FREE and open to ALL community members. The full schedule of events may be found here. Flyers, awareness ribbons, and community-specific resources (e.g. engaging men and boys, information sheets, winter activities for families, beginning to heal, common myths, date rape, etc.) will also be distributed throughout Eastern Nova Scotia communities, and expect advertisements on the radio, social media, and more.
